Patriots' Day?

The Mark Walhberg produced movie 'Patriots'Day' about the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing was released last Thursday in my part of the world (Australia) and I went to the cinema to see it.
I thought it was rather amusing that I had just seen Mark in the film, 'Deepwater Horizon' about the BP oil spill a few months ago and now he is playing a cop at the Boston bombing with a BP on his chest.
BP - Boston Police:-)
And I knew once I saw that "ham" actor Kevin Bacon was involved in this movie that everyone and everything would be connected;-)

But the thing that blew my mind was that the New England Patriots (pretty much from Boston) are in the Superbowl final against the Atlanta Falcons Monday morning my time (Australia).
When I saw this film I couldn't help thinking of the sync film Jake Kotze made, "ARMED With a DREAM", about all of the weirdness around the Boston Bombing 4 years ago.
And April 15th was not only Patriots' Day in 2013, but also Jackie Robinson Day.
And the anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster involving other "red socks" supporters and ironically the owners of the Boston Red Sox also owned the Liverpool F.C. in 2013.
The thing with Jake's video is that a lot of what he put into his video 4 years ago seems rather spooky in 2016.
Check out Jake's video, 'ARMED With a DREAM' by clicking on the link below and watch it for yourself -

By the way, my tip is the Falcons for the Superbowl.

UPDATE: 6th Feb, 2017
Those red socks nearly had that Superbowl trophy tucked under their arm, but those Patriots wrecked their DREAM.

I guess we'll now be seeing another hero movie starring Mark Wahlberg as Tom Brady?
The Brady Bunch Movie, perhaps?-)
But if Mark Wahlberg plays Tom Brady in that movie, who is going to play Mark walking out of the game to heroically take his "sick" kid home when the Patriots were down 28-3?-)

  2. While Lady Gaga sang snippets of "this land is your land" nobody thought that the patriots could pull off a win. It went down to the wire, but the patriots pulled off a unanticipated victory... Much like the Trump victory (himself a big patriots supporter, in more ways than one)... curiouser and curiouser...
