The Burning Man and Steely Dan

I picked up the paper the other day and saw the above news story about a guy who ran into the Burning Man, which eventually led to the cause of him dying.
If that wasn't a bad enough story, right next to the story of the Burning Man event is a news article about one of the founding members of the 'Steely Dan' band, Walter Becker passing away.
I attended the first ever 'Burning of the Vines' at the Sirromet winery, which was where I saw 'Steely Dan' play there live years ago -

The 'Steely Dan' concert was actually my very first concert that I attended at Sirromet winery -

Nine Kinds of Naked
"Vigorito wrote this book as an experiment in literary synchronicity, starting with the title and inventing the entire story day by day according to the synchronicities of his daily experience.
What emerged was an exploration of the Butterfly Effect, as what initially appears to be a chaotic storyline eventually relents into a tightly interconnected series of events linked across time, space, and meaning."
"This story takes place in the same fictional universe as Tony Vigorito's first novel, Just a Couple of Days.
This is evidenced by intersecting scenes involving T-shirts displaying the message "Argue Naked.""

'Nine Kinds of Naked' centers around an anomalous hypercane, taking up an apparently stable position in the Gulf of Mexico, by the way.
In the same newspaper as the Burning Man story is the above photo of the NRL final team captains with flames above their heads, which reminded me of 'Twin Peaks' for some reason;-)
The World (Wide Web) is a Circle
You might have noticed the number 67 coming up a lot in the above linked post and what age was Walter Becker when he passed away?
Hey Nineteen
Steely Dan

Way back when in sixty seven
I was the dandy of Gamma Chi
Sweet things from Boston
So young and willing
Moved down to Scarsdale
And where the hell am I
Hey nineteen
No we can't dance together
No we can't talk at all
Please take me along
When you slide on down
Hey nineteen
That's 'Retha Franklin
She don't remember the Queen of Soul
It's hard times befallen
The sole survivors
She thinks I'm crazy
But I'm just growing old
In the same
Queensland newspaper the day before I saw also on the same page (20?)17 that
Peggy Whitson had become a "record-smashing" female astronaut.

I've seen your picture
Your name in lights above it
This is your big debut
It's like a dream come true
And when you smile for the camera
I know they're love it

I got your pin shot
I keep it with your letter
Done up in blueprint blue
It sure looks good on you
So won't you smile for the camera
I know I'll love you better

Peg
It will come back to you
Peg
It will come back to you
Then the shutter falls
You see it all in 3-D
It's your favorite foreign movie

It's hard to tell if we are living in one big rabbit hole or a 'Twin Peaks' universe sometimes, don't you think?
Houston, we really do have a problem here at ground control it looks like.
Let's hope we can fix it soon.

UPDATE: 13th September, 2017
WTF?!
Didn't Hurricane Irma's eye make landfall on the Florida mainland in a town called Naples?
Boy and parents die after falling into hole at bubbling Solfatara volcano near Naples
"Italy's fire brigade said it pulled three dead bodies from a shallow hole in a section of the crater at the Solfatara volcano, which was surrounded by a wooden fence meant to keep tourists out.
The victims were a 45-year-old man, a 42-year-old woman and their son. Another son, aged seven, did not fall into the hole and was unharmed, national
fire brigade spokesman Luca Cari said.
"Either there was a small explosion, or the ground simply gave way from their weight, and they fell into this hole," Mr Cari said.
"It was inside a fenced-off area."
